Restylane®

Restylane® (L)
Over time, natural fat begins to deteriorate, resulting in sagging skin, more prominent wrinkles and a reduction of volume. Restylane Lyft, formerly known as Perlane-L®, is an injectable hyaluronic acid gel used to correct volume loss and treat wrinkles in the face and hands. Through nonsurgical injections, Restylane Lyft is specifically designed to add fullness to the cheeks, midface area, and the back of the hands to help complete your aesthetic look — for face and hands.1

Restylane® Lyft
Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine is for deep implantation into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds and for cheek augmentation and for the correction of age-related midface contour deficiencies. Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine is also indicated for injection into the dorsal hand to correct volume loss.

Restylane® Refyne
Restylane® Refyne is for mid-to-deep injection into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds.

Restylane® Defyne
Restylane® Defyne is for mid-to-deep injection into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe deep facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. Restylane® Defyne is also indicated for injection into the mid-to-deep dermis (subcutaneous and/or supraperiosteal) for augmentation of the chin region to improve the chin profile in patients with mild to moderate chin retrusion.

Restylane® Silk
Restylane® Silk is for lip augmentation and for correction of perioral wrinkles.

Restylane® Silk is a smooth, clear injectable gel composed of hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a naturally occurring sugar found in the human body. HA fillers, including Restylane® Silk, contains HA that has been modified to last longer in the body than the naturally occurring HA.

Restylane® Kysse
Restylane® Kysse is for lip augmentation and for correction of upper perioral wrinkles.

Restylane® Kysse is a clear injectable gel composed of hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a naturally occurring sugar, found in the human body. Restylane® Kysse is crosslinked with BDDE, an ingredient that helps form a network of HA to provide a gel filler that lasts longer. HA fillers, including Restylane® Kysse, contains HA that has been modified to last longer in the body than the naturally occurring HA.

Radiesse and Radiesse +

Radiesse is an FDA-approved dermal filler gel that works differently than the hyaluronic acid gels. Radiesse is a collagen stimulator that adds calcium microspheres into the treated area to immediately add volume and to erase wrinkles and folds.

Radiesse is a long-lasting dermal filler that contours, lifts, and volumizes the cheeks. It lasts up to 15 months.

PRE CARE CHECKLIST

For Injectables

1. Avoid anti-inflammatory medications like aspirin, ibuprofen, and omega-3/fish oil supplements for at least two weeks prior to treatment to avoid bruising at the injection site.*
2. Do not consume alcohol for 24 hours prior to your appointment, as it can thin your blood and increase the risk of bruising.*
3. Discontinue use of Retin-A and all Retinol-containing skin products at the treatment site two days before your appointment.
4. If you develop a rash, blemish, or cold sore at the treatment site, call us to reschedule your appointment.
5. You may not receive treatment if you are pregnant or nursing.

Pre and Post-Treatment Instructions

PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

• Avoid Chemical Peels and Laser 1 –2 weeks prior to Dermal filler treatment.
• One week before DO NOT take Aspirin (Advil, Aleve, etc.), Gingko Biloba, garlic, flax oil, cod liver oil, vitamin A, vitamin E, and any other essential fatty acids.
• If you ANSWER Yes to any of the following please call our nurses to advise prior to making an appointment:– Are you currently pregnant or nursing?  – Are you currently being treated for an active infection or on antibiotics?  – Have you had a dental procedure in the last 2 weeks?        – Have you had any vaccines in the last 2 weeks?              

  – Are you currently taking any anticoagulant medications such as Aspirin, Coumadin, Xarelto, or Ibuprofen that you cannot stop without physician approval?

  – If you answered YES to any of the above questions, please call The Lift Bar at 859-523-2196 prior to making an appointment time to discuss.

POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Restylane®, Juvederm® and Radiesse®

• You may use arnica to help the bruising and swelling, typically redness, swelling, bruising should subside within a week.
• Tylenol may be used for discomfort.  Avoid NSAIDS that may increase your risk of bleeding and bruising such as Aleve, Ibuprofen, Naproxen or Fish Oil.
• You may gently massage the treated area if you feel slight lumps and bumps  This is normal.  Avoid significant movement or massage.
• AVOID strenuous activity or exercise for the next 24 hours, this will increase your risk of bruising.  
• AVOID consuming excessive amounts of alcohol or salt for up to 72 hours, this can lead to excessive swelling and bruising.  
• If you feel your swelling is excessive, you may use a cool compress 15 minutes each hour. 

Kybella® 

• AVOID placing excessive pressure on the treated area(s) for the first few days; when cleansing your face or applying makeup, be very gentle.
• AVOID exercise or strenuous activities for the remainder of the treatment day; you may resume other normal activities/routines immediately.
• AVOID extended UV exposure until any redness/swelling has subsided. 
• Be sure to apply an SPF 30 or higher sunscreen.
• You may experience swelling and pain, you may apply ice for 15 minutes each hour, as well as take tylenol. 
• No facials or other aesthetic treatments should be performed within 14 days after Kybella.  They can be performed prior.
